Nursery Sessions
We have 78 places for children from the age of three.  We offer 15 hours of free education which can be accessed in a number of ways:
3 hours each morning from 8.30-11.30am
3 hours each afternoon from 12.30-3.30pm
Both of the above attendance patterns can include lunch from 11.30am-12.30pm; we ask you to provide a packed lunch for your child.  Lunch places are subject to availability.

We also offer attendance patterns over two and half days.  These need to be agreed with the Nursery teacher when places are provisionally offered.  Parents can choose which two and half days they would like their child to attend (subject to availability).

If you would like to get in touch to discuss your requirements please contact Nursery directly via e-mail or by telephoning the school office:

Our Ethos for LearningWe offer an engaging and creative curriculum which encourages independent thinking, enquiring minds and enjoyment for learning both inside and outdoors.
Our routines and areas of provision inside and outdoors encourage the children to develop their relationships with others (Making relationships, self-confidence and self-awareness, feelings and behaviour), their physical skills and their knowledge and skills in communication and language, literacy, maths, understanding the world and creative development.
We have links with the local community and enjoy taking the children out and about in small groups using our school minibus; this supports their learning when they are at nursery.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum; our long term plan can be found under the Key Information tab; Our Curriculum Information, Early Years (Nursery and Reception). We encourage the children to share their ideas for learning and to talk about their interests as this informs our planning and ensure the children engage well in their learning.
Have a look at our class page to see some of the things we have been learning about this academic year.
