Robinwood 31st October to 2nd November 2016
A fabulous, tiring, exciting, challenging and thoroughly brilliant time was had by all.  Big thanks to all the children for pushing themselves to the limit (and beyond) and a big thanks to everyone at PPH who makes this sort of trip possible ...
Have a look at a selection of the photos and at some of our writing.

Around the World Focus Week 19.9.16 - 23.9.16

Y6B learnt about Washington DC, the capital of the United States of America during Focus Week.  We found out about the cities famous landmarks and made Digital Tour Guides and short promotional films.  In Maths we focused on some shape learning and used our ability to visualise 3D shapes to create our own 3D Skyline.  Food Trucks are an important cultural aspect of the city, and we designed our own food trucks, menus and slogans.  At the end of the week we invited our parents in to share our '3 Bean Burritos' from the Y6B Food Truck.
3D Washington Skyline

We made models of the famous Washington DC landmarks using our knowledge of 3D shapes.

3 Bean Burrito Food Truck

We turned our learning to healthy options at the Washington DC Food Trucks - 3 Bean Burritos! We used our Food Tech skills to prepare our recipe. Everyone enjoyed the burritos - including parents at the end of the day!
