Our Learning  »  2012-2013 Archive  »  Reception Alderson

Welcome to Reception A's Class page.
We are proud of our learning.  We hope you enjoy looking at some of the things we do!

Children enjoy learning through play and often talk about their learning as play.  Learning in Reception is through play; real experiences and short periods of time focusing on something with and without an adult supporting the learning.

We hope you enjoy seeing what we have been learning recently.

Summer Term
This half term we are learning about the special jobs people in our community have.  We are finding out about real and pretend super heroes and talking about special 'super hero' qualities people have.
Our circle time learning is focusing on how we can be kind and thoughtful always.

We hope to have visitors into school who help people.  If any parents, carers or family friends have a job where they help others and would be able to come into school to chat to the class, please let Mrs Alderson or Mr Bogle know.  Thank you.
